Dogs' minds need as much of activity as their bodies do. Your dog may have had the run of her life in the woods, but still her mind craves for activity. To quell that need for mental activity you can use stimulating puzzle games, or you may need to calm down your dog with the help of some raw food. Lastly, to keep her gnawing appetite at bay, your dog will need to chew on something acceptable. In this write-up we examine how to use different types of activation toys and activities to challenge your dog's brain with different goals in mind: activation, calming down or getting that need to chew on something our of her system.

One of the interesting trends over the COVID era has been the surge in dog ownership. Of course I don't have any scientific evidence back up my claim, but the anecdotal evicence is quite clear. Cute puppies abound all around us and many people have decided to get their first four-legged furry friend. Owning a dog will change your life for good and it is no different from getting a baby. The only difference is that dogs should never be anthropomorphized, i.e. we must not treat them as if they were humans. I've been a dog owner all my adult life.
